| About Dan.... |
Born in Portugal in 1981 and brought up there, I eventually moved to the UK to do my A-Levels at Peter Symonds College, Winchester. From there I completed a Bachelor of Photography and Web Design at Queensland College of Art, at Griffith University, Brisbane, so I am now a Profesional Photographer.
I
currently do freelance work when at home in Portugal but have a seasonal
job helping to manage a nature reserve in the Falkland Islands in the
south Atlantic. This is where the majority of my photographs are taken.
It is a fantastic place for photograph with great light, weather and scenery. Scanning
method of film: The easiest, and most affordable way of getting good quality
prints out of this medium is using digital technology. I currently use
a Canon FS4000US colour film scanner, which has a maximum resolution of
4000dpi @ 42bit. This gives very good quality reproduction and prints
can be reproduced at a maximum size of A3 from 35mm film, and significantly
larger for medium format. If you would like any other information please feel free to contact me via my contact page. |
